Cyber attack

I think that a cyber attack is a really a big issue that we should put a lot of time and effort into stopping because if the terrorist did a cyber attack that could affect us more then any attack could because if they tried to do a cyber attack they could do things like launch nuclear missiles to stealing money from banks to fund their operations unlike just a regular attack because you don’t really know when they are coming so that’s what makes it worse but then again as soon as it starts to happen we have the technology to stop them as it is happening because with a cyber attack they could keep doing it and they have no way of permanently stopping them either because they could always could get another computer and try again somewhere else also why we should pay more attention to this threat is like I said before they

have way more options to choose from then just what they are use to doing they could hack into banks all around the world and steal money or they could even attack whole cities power grids and hold them hostage basically but another thing that would be possible is they could hack into files at the police stations or even the FBI and get vital information that they could use against us and that is why the government is now really starting to put a lot of money into companies to help them come up with the latest technology and software to help stop this from every happening to us.i mean their even going to the lengths of  “Both the House and Senate continue to work toward comprehensive legislation on the issue. The House Committee on Homeland Security is marking up cyber security legislation Wednesday, and the Senate will move to consider a comprehensive cyber security bill later this month, “

  1. Your right, a cyber attack could be really dangerous, but we do have firewalls, antivirus, and other controls that help protect us from cyber attacks. The threat of a cyber attack is always there, but to manipulate it to the extent that you mention in this blog would be the far extreme. There would have to be little to no maintenance on the servers that are being attacked, more likely the Government would realize they are being hacked instantly and have a tech geek on hand to diffuse the attack. This isn't the movies, this is real life and if it were as easy as picking up a laptop and connecting to the internet to disable an entire city's power grid, then I think it would have already happened.
