A lot of people actually don’t realize how much crime there is on the internet and how it’s growing and growing every day. When people think of the word crime they think of robbery, assaults, and different felony’s but that kind of stuff is nothing compared what is going on the internet.  The Obama administration has released a plan to bolster U.S. network security.” With the help of the government and different grants the FBI now has over 900 million to invest on antiterrorism and other crimes committed on the internet. I believe this is a great idea because the internet makes everything easier to do like communicating and sending files. Even though some people might not like this idea of the government seeing what you send it really will help protect the U.S and other countries from attacks and put terrorist or hackers in jail.
Before the FBI couldn’t train people as well because they did not have the money but now they are helping the economy creating more and more jobs to their 30,000 member team. Not only are they hiring new people but has set over 5 million dollars to aid the training of these people. These IT professionals do a variety of jobs that keep us safe like analyzing data, scanning what people are sending, different imports and exports done on the internet, and emails and social media as well. Not only are they being cautious they are cracking down on internet hackers and are improving their database to find there people fast.
The FBI said that it also "encourages the FBI to expand its integration of FBI cyber agents into eastern European police services.” That’s key, since many cybercrime operations launched against residents of the United States can be traced to Eastern Europe. With the FBI expanding into different countries they now have a better grip on what people are doing to hurt Americans  and with working with other officials in Europe they can now work better to stopping crimes done on the internet. I believe the main goal from this article is to prevent cyber-attacks as well as blocking holes in the system that people tend to surpass. Hopefully this plan works so the internet is a safer place for us to share information and also crack down on cyber terrorism.
